It’s Day 6 of Natalie Sissons 10 Day Blog Challenge and today I’m writing about the people who keep me on my toes.
There are 2 people who light my fire and give me the inspiration to keep moving and keep writing, keep podcasting and keep searching for the people who are on the same page as me. To find those women who GET me.
There are several people who I will mention here who are my hero’s but 2 that stand out.
Leonie Dawson is amazing, inspiring, out there, crazy as a loon and fantastically successful and as transparent as cut glass.
Ash Ambirge of the Middle Finger Project is so politically incorrect I can’t help but love her, Ash is also super successful and also honest to a T (or is that a H). Her energy is contagious.
And…..here are my 2 FAVES>>>
1.I was first drawn to Natalie Sisson of the Suitcase Entrepreneur a few years ago when I was searching for a way to make a living online. I had been trying unsuccessfully for years, having an idea…then moving onto another and another – you know the drill. Her lifestyle is one I yearned for Travelling, working online, great income and FREEDOM is a word that follows her. There’s not much I wasn’t NOT attracted to here.
On top of that Natalie is really responsive to emails I sent her always replying and that made her REAL to me.
It was Natalie who gave me the inspiration and motivation to sell my stuff and just walk away. To find my “why” and never look back. I owe her my life and my sanity. So…for all of those who thought I was crazy – blame Natalie!!
She walks her talk and authentic and lovely, down to earth , helpful and courageous. All qualities I admire.
2. Yaro Starak of Entrepreneurs-Journey is a young man I wandered into in 2008 while searching for clues to find a new source of income. I learned how to build a website, link it to Google Analytics and get an audience from him!! It was like the entire world opened up for me. Yaro also had the travel thing going, making great money while travelling around the world.
Yaro struck me as an honest down to earth young man and it was like a breath of fresh air in those days of crazy internet scams (I got stung by a few).
Yaro is no longer the long haired renegade from the old days – he now lives his “Laptop Lifestyle” all over the world and has persisted through all sorts of stumbling blocks to be another highly successful business man selling his online course teaching people to run a blog with a profit. He pulls no punches but is also understanding and extremely patient.
Part of this challenge is to ask my mentors a question, but I have already asked them so many there’s really none left! (at the moment)……
